Angelo Giordano and Dylan Hart are more in love than ever, but their reality is far from ideal. With Dylan working in London, and Angelo recovering from chronic illness in Cornwall, they rarely spend more than few nights under the same sky.
Dylan is struggling. Being apart from Angelo is killing him, and he’s at the end of his rope. Angelo can’t live in London anymore, but can Dylan give up his whole life and move to a place that often feels like the end of the world?
As the end of a tough year approaches, they reach a crossroads. Dylan returns to Cornwall for Christmas and Angelo can’t imagine watching him leave again. Can the love that surrounds them on Whisper Farm show them the way home?
4✨s – All three couples from the Skin’s collection appear in this novella. Dylan and Angelo are faced with some challenges regarding their future. Harry and Joe have a surprise for everyone and Jevon and Rhys make an appearance (literally). What a wonderful holiday wrap up to these guys!!!
4✨s – This novella was a wonderful way to bring all of the couples in the series together and wrap up the series. Dylan and Angelo were the first couple we met in book 1 and they figured in the following stories for Harry and Joe, and Rhys and Jevon. Angelo had a very bad flare-up of his CFS in book 3 and needing help, he travels out to Whisper Farm where Harry, his therapist, lives with Joe as seen in book two. Dylan joins him there over Christmas and seeing how much better Angelo is on the farm, they realize things have to change. The issue is how Dylan can work at his business and still have Angelo get the help he needs for his condition and work with Harry.
Dylan and Angelo’s story had a strong sexual element, since it began in a sex club where Rhys used to play with them before he met Jevon. That generates a little voyeurism between the four of them but sex doesn’t dominate the story. The best part was seeing all of the characters together and the dynamic involving all three couples being around each other. There’s one-on-one dialogues between the various men showing how they’ve all learned to change and adjust since meeting their other halves. There’s a very happy surprise from one couple, a sweet resolution for Angelo and Dylan and a sense of complete HEA’s for everyone. If you’ve enjoyed this series as much as I have, you won’t want to skip this one.
4✨s – I love Christmas novellas. They give us a chance to catch up with some much loved characters and the two men in Crossroads deserve a happy Christmas just as much, if not more, than others. Angelo and Dylan are from book one in the Skins series and each have their own health problems. Angelo has spent time in Newquay at the farm to recover from a relapse in his ME but its meant time away from Dylan. Time is never good when it allows for overthinking, worrying and stressing about things that can easily be talked about. The two men are loved and supported by each other and their amazing friends at the farm, maybe even arriving at a solution that will work for both of them. We are treated to laughs, love and just a dose of angst as it wouldn’t be a Garrett Leigh book without it. Oh and of course one or two hot scenes between our loved up MC’s. My only niggle is that the story was over by 65%. This is a book for those who have read the Skins series. If you haven’t, go back and read them first, you won’t regret it!
